There will be a Masonic Service for him on Sunday July 29, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Ashleys Funeral Home on Oak Street Middleboro. A large showing of Brothers would be appreciated

Obituary

TAUNTON — Norman M. Eaton Sr., aged 79 years, of Taunton, formerly of Lakeland, FL, Middleboro, and Lakeville, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Longmeadow Nursing Home, Taunton, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Barbara M. (O'Leary) Eaton, who predeceased him on November 18, 2009.

He was born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Fred J. and Isabel A. (James) Eaton. He retired in October of 1989 as a machinist at A.F. German Company of Brockton. He was a member of the May Flower Lodge A.F. & A.M., Aleppo Shrine, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Boston, and Hannah Shaw Chapter O.E.S. & A.A.R.P.

Survivors include a son, Norman M. Eaton Jr. of Raynham; stepson, Malcolm G. Ashley Jr. of FL; two step-daughters, Linda Bernacchio and Nancy Sherman, both of Lakeville; two brothers, Harold Eaton and William Eaton, both of Fairhaven; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was father of the late Geraldine Wolffburg, and Mary Lou Rebello, and brother of the late Charles and Fred J. Eaton, Bernice Magnant, Dorothy Medeiros, Edith Radzierwiez.

Visiting hours will be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro on Sunday, July 29th from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 30th at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Titicut Parish Cemetery, N. Middleboro.
